What is teleprotection?
Teleprotection is the system used for dry-contact signalling between distance protection relays in substations. Where two substations are linked by OPGW fibre, a pair of teleprotection devices transfers the signal of a relay at one substation to the other as a dry contact. The relays at the two ends therefore work together even if they are of different makes.
The INTPRO 480X family
The INTPRO 480X family (INTPRO 4801, 4802, 4803, 4804, 4805) communicates directly over fibre optic links, provides 8 dry-contact inputs and 8 outputs and has a redundant power supply unit. The product has been approved by TEİAŞ and is in service. It is the world’s first teleprotection device to display its event log on a built-in LCD.

Fully domestic teleprotection panel
We manufacture the domestic teleprotection panels called for in TEİAŞ substation project specifications in-house. The INTPRO 480X — developed entirely with domestic resources and cleared through TEİAŞ approval — is combined with a locally produced cubicle to form a fully domestic teleprotection panel, sized according to the substation specification and the number of feeders.
