Annunciator

An annunciator gathers all fault and warning contacts in a facility onto a single panel, informing the operator with lit windows and an audible alarm.

Annunciator

In substations, switchyards and power plants the dry-contact signals arriving from protection relays, transformer protection devices, DC systems and auxiliary equipment are collected on the annunciator panel. When an alarm occurs the relevant window flashes and the horn sounds; once the operator acknowledges it the light becomes steady, and when the fault is cleared it is extinguished with reset. This behaviour is configured according to ISA 18.1 alarm sequences.

Channel options

8-window annunciator

8 independent dry-contact inputs and 8 lit windows. Suitable for small switching stations, generator panels, pump stations and compact auxiliary systems. Mounted on the panel door in a 4×2 or 8×1 window layout.

16-window annunciator

16 independent dry-contact inputs and 16 lit windows. Suitable for substations, substation automation projects and multi-feeder switchyards. A 4×4 or 8×2 layout can be selected, and several panels can be placed side by side to increase channel count.
